Our Mission
Our mission is to revolutionize pediatric therapy by putting therapists first, recognizing that empowered, supported professionals provide the best care for families. We offer holistic, high-quality occupational, speech, and physical therapy with a focus on early intervention, family education, and community connection. Through workshops, yoga classes, fundraisers, and outdoor therapy options, we create an inclusive, wellness-centered environment that uplifts both therapists and the children they serve.
Meet Our Therapists
Adriana Covarrubias, M.S., OTR/L
Owner and Treating Therapist
Welcome! I am a licensed occupational therapist and the proud owner of Balance & Bloom Therapy! We are a pediatric occupational therapy practice dedicated to helping children thrive. With over nine years of experience supporting children’s development—including three years specializing in pediatric occupational therapy and six years in ABA therapy —I’ve had the privilege of working in clinics, schools, and early intervention programs.
My passion lies in helping children become independent and overcome challenges related to sensory processing and motor development, using a compassionate, individualized approach rooted in evidence-based practices. I believe therapy should be fun, functional, and empowering for both children and their families.
Outside of work, I enjoy practicing yoga, walking my two dogs, and exploring local trails on my mountain bike. These activities help me stay grounded and bring renewed energy into my therapy practice each day.
Caitlin Barnhill, M.S., OTR/L
Treating Therapist
Hi, I’m Caitlin, a licensed occupational therapist with a passion for hands-on, sensory-rich experiences that support children in growing, learning, and thriving. I bring a nature-based approach to my work, often incorporating movement, play, and even food—drawing from my background as a chef—to support motor planning, regulation, and joyful engagement. I’ve also had meaningful experience working with horses in therapy settings and produced a documentary to share the powerful benefits of using animals and nature as tools for healing. Outside of individual sessions, I’m passionate about building community and am excited to host wellness events for parents and sensory workshops that create connection, support, and space for families to flourish.
